Many Voices Choir is a group of adults in the community
who enjoy music, singing and the fellowship of others.
Members come from Estherville, the Lakes Area, and
all the surrounding communities. Anyone who is interested in singing is welcome
to join the choir. There are no auditions. The Choir is a non-profit
organization funded by membership dues, occasional donations, and free-will
offerings at concerts.
Rehearsals
During the rehearsal season which includes spring (January
– April) and fall (September – December), the Choir practices every Monday
evening from 7-9 p.m. in Estherville at Iowa Lakes Community College music room,
#60. Watch the local media for seasonal starting dates.
Membership Dues
The annual dues are $25 per person and are paid to the Many
Voices Choir organization. Dues are used to purchase new music and pay
director/ accompanist fees.
Folders and Music
Black folders are used at concerts and can be purchased
from Marian Brunsvold at a rehearsal. Music is purchased from dues and
donations; it is collected after concerts to be retained in our music library.
If you cannot continue with the group, please turn in your music. Bring a pencil to rehearsals to mark music as we go along.
