Director

Tim Schumacher took over directing duties in 1991 and has continued in the same position to the present.  Schumacher has been a vocal music instructor for more than 20 years at public schools and colleges.   

He has taught at Estherville Lincoln Central High School and at Iowa Lakes Community College.  He has a bachelor’s degree in music education from Wartburg College, a master’s degree from the University of Denver, and ABD from University of Iowa doctoral program.   Tim is married to Mary and they have three children.

Accompanist

Jennifer Heller took over accompaniment duties with Many Voices Choir in 2010, with some substituting prior to that.  Jennifer was raised in the Estherville area and graduated from ELC High School.  She attended Iowa Lakes for two years and completed her BA from Augustana College. 

A talented pianist, Jennifer plays for a variety of events, including weddings, funerals, and other organizational events.  She also gives piano concerts, accompanies  the Many Voices Choir, and serves as organist for St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Estherville and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Milford.  And she squeezes piano lessons into her busy schedule. 

She is married to John Heller and has three children.  They currently live in Milford.
